CA Final admit card Nov 2026 out: download link, SSP login
The CA Final Nov 2026 admit card is out: it went up on eservices.icai.org (opens in a new tab) on 17 October 2026, as news reports said that evening. On that page, click "Click Here" next to "Admit Card Final Exam NOVEMBER 2026" (direct link (opens in a new tab)), sign in with your SSP ID (your registration number followed by @icai.org) and SSP password, then download it and print it. ICAI's Guidance Notes said admit cards are hosted "generally 14 days prior to the commencement of the examination", and Paper 1 is on Monday 2 November 2026. ICAI didn't put up a separate notice on its Examinations – September & November 2026 page (opens in a new tab); the card is on the portal itself. No printed admit card is posted to anyone.
Below: how to download it, what to check the moment you have it, what to do if something is wrong, and the exam-day rules from ICAI's own documents that students lose marks (or the attempt) over.

How to download the CA Final admit card
- Go to eservices.icai.org (opens in a new tab) and, under News & Announcements, click Click Here next to Admit Card Final Exam NOVEMBER 2026 (direct link (opens in a new tab)). ICAI's note on the page: for the admit card, don't log in to SSP; use this link.
- Enter your SSP ID (your registration number followed by @icai.org) and your SSP password, type the captcha, and click Download Admit Card. Forgot it? Use "Forgot Password?" on the same page.
- Download the PDF and save a copy on your phone and on a laptop or email.
- Print it. ICAI says you must print it from the website, and the printout is what is "valid for admission to the examination".
- Print two copies. Keep one in your exam folder and one at home, in case the first is lost or damaged before Group II.
Searching "ca final hall ticket"? It is the same document. ICAI calls it the admit card.
What to check on your admit card the moment you print it
ICAI's own list: "verify the name, registration number, centre, medium, Group opted, etc. immediately." Go line by line:
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Name and registration number | Must match your ICAI record |
| Photograph and signature | Printed on the card; they are how the invigilator identifies you |
| Group opted (I, II or both) | Decides which papers you can sit |
| Medium (English or Hindi) | Decides the language you must answer in (see below) |
| Exam centre and address | Your exact centre is confirmed only here |
| Paper dates | Should match the timetable: 2, 4, 6, 9, 11, 13 Nov |
Visit your centre before Paper 1. Go a day or two earlier at about the same time of day. You learn the route, the travel time and the gate, so exam day has no surprises.
Something wrong on your admit card? What to do
ICAI's online correction window for centre, group and medium ran from 23 to 25 July 2026 (ICAI important dates, PDF (opens in a new tab)), and the Guidance Notes say there is no second, paid correction window. So if a detail is wrong now, don't wait:
- Write and call the Final exam helpline at once: [email protected] (opens in a new tab), 0120-3894807 (ICAI Examination Department contact details, PDF (opens in a new tab)). Give your registration number, the wrong detail and a screenshot.
- Keep the PDF of your exam form; ICAI asks you to keep it "at least till the admit cards are released".
On the medium, the rule is strict. The medium chosen in the form is final. If you didn't opt for Hindi but answer in Hindi, you get no credit for that answer, and the same holds the other way round. Hindi-medium candidates may still write numbers, figures and technical terms in English and solve numerical questions in English.
Admit card not showing? Check your eligibility
The admit card is issued only to eligible candidates. For November 2026, the Guidance Notes set 10 October 2026 as the cut-off for three things:
- Articleship: update your training details on the Self Service Portal "on or before 10th October 2026, failing which their admit card for November 2026 Final Examination will not be issued".
- Advanced ICITSS: students under the New Scheme "should have completed Advanced ICITSS on or before 10th October, 2026".
- Self-Paced Online Modules: many candidates (for example, those admitted to the Final exam from November 2024 onwards) had to qualify the sets that apply to them, from Sets A to D, before the exam, "on/before 10th October 2026". Some older candidates are exempt from Sets C and D and take Sets A and B before membership instead; ICAI's tables in the Guidance Notes say who needs which set.
If any of these is incomplete, write to the Final exam helpline. Don't rely on forum posts for an eligibility answer; only ICAI can confirm yours.
Exam-day rules from ICAI's own documents
These come from the Guidance Notes and ICAI's specimen answer books for September & November 2026 (opens in a new tab).
Timing and reading time
Every paper starts at 2 PM. You get 15 minutes of advance reading time from 1:45 PM (ICAI exam schedule, 2 May 2026, PDF (opens in a new tab)). Papers 1 to 5 end at 5 PM; Paper 6 ends at 6 PM. Be in your seat before 1:45 PM, and follow any reporting time printed in the instructions on your admit card. How to use those 15 minutes is in our guide to attempting a CA Final paper in 3 hours.
Phone, calculator and what you carry
- Mobile phone: "mere possession of mobile phone in the examination hall whether in switch off mode or silent mode shall also be deemed to be resorting to adoption of unfair means", and the candidate may be debarred for 5 years. Leave it outside.
- Calculator: battery-operated, up to 6 functions, 12 digits and two memories. "Scientific calculator is not allowed." A calculator with more features counts as unfair means.
- Admit card: the printed copy, every day.
Filling the answer book cover
From the general instructions printed on ICAI's specimen answer book (PDF) (opens in a new tab):
- Write your roll number in figures and words only in the space in the right-hand corner of the cover, then write it in the box and darken the OMR circles with a black or blue ball-point pen. A machine reads it, and ICAI won't fix a wrong one.
- Never write your roll number anywhere else, including additional answer books and graph paper, and never write marks like "OM", "Sri", "Jesus" or "786". Both count as unfair means.
- Start each answer on a fresh page with the question number at the top, finish all parts of a question before the next, and cross out blank pages before you submit.
MCQs: the 7-digit booklet number
ICAI's Guidelines as to MCQs response for Intermediate & Final (PDF) (opens in a new tab) are short and serious:
- Fill the 7-digit Question Paper Booklet Number on the OMR cover: write it in the box with a pen, darken the circles with a pencil, and check it twice. ICAI's own example: booklet 1234567 written as 12334657 means "several of your MCQ answers adjudged wrong".
- Mark MCQ answers only on the OMR sheet on the cover. MCQ answers written inside the answer book "will not be evaluated".
- The answer book says: use an HB pencil, darken the full circle, erase completely to change an answer, and do no rough work on the OMR page.
Worked example. Your booklet says 4071592. In the box you write 4071529 by mistake. Your MCQ answers are then read against the wrong booklet, which is exactly the case ICAI warns about. Thirty seconds of checking the box against the booklet, twice, protects 30 marks.
Paper 6 (IBS): open book, with limits
You may bring your own material in hard copy: study material, practice manuals, RTPs, textbooks, bare Acts, your notes. You may not bring any electronic device, exchange material with others, or paste text from your material into the answer book. Answers must be in your own handwriting. How to prepare and tab that material is in our Paper 6 IBS guide.
Your admit card week: a short checklist
| When | Do this |
|---|---|
| Now (out since 17 Oct) | Download from eservices.icai.org, print two copies, check every detail |
| Same day | Wrong detail? Email and call the Final exam helpline |
| Before 2 Nov | Visit your centre; pack the admit card, pens, HB pencil, eraser, an allowed calculator |
| Every exam day | Admit card in hand, phone left outside, seated before 1:45 PM |
The last two weeks are better spent writing than reading. Our 30-day mock test plan has a day-by-day calendar that runs right up to Paper 1.
