ICAI LVC schedule 2026-27: LVRC batches, fees, how to join
ICAI's Board of Studies (BoS) runs three kinds of online classes for CA students, taught by its faculty: Live Virtual Classes (LVC), Live Virtual Revisionary Classes (LVRC) and Success at CA Exam BoS sessions. Each ICAI announcement covers one level and one attempt. This guide explains what each one is, lists the batches announced for the current attempts, and shows how to join. Every fact is taken from ICAI's announcements, linked below, as of early October 2026.
ICAI LVC, LVRC and Success at CA Exam: what each one is

ICAI LVC and LVRC batches for the current attempts
CA Foundation January 2027 LVC timings
Started on 16 September 2026 (ICAI announcement, 2 September 2026, PDF (opens in a new tab)).

Accounting and Business Laws started on 16 September; Quantitative Aptitude and Business Economics on 17 September. The announcement lists "Unlimited Access to Recorded Lectures" among its features, so joining late does not mean losing the classes already held.
CA Inter January 2027 LVRC timetable
Starts on 12 October 2026. Morning classes run from 7 to 9:30 AM and evening classes from 6 to 8:30 PM (ICAI announcement, 24 September 2026, PDF (opens in a new tab)). The announcement, with how to join, is also in our note on CA Inter Jan 2027 LVRC revision classes from 12 October.

CA Final November 2026: LVRC and Success at CA Exam
- LVRC: ICAI called these "Free Live Virtual Revisionary Classes". They began on 6 July 2026, in a morning slot (7 to 10 AM) and an evening slot (6 to 9 PM). Paper 6 ran on Fridays from 6:30 to 9:30 PM (ICAI announcement, 5 June 2026, PDF (opens in a new tab)).
- Success at CA Exam BoS: sessions start on 6 October 2026. ICAI lists subject-specific insights, strategising your study plan, "Avoiding common/repeated mistakes" and exam-writing techniques. ICAI LVC for CA Inter and CA Final 2027 attempts
- CA Intermediate, for May 2027, September 2027 and January 2028: started on 20 July 2026, with some papers starting later. Paper 3 Section B (GST) started on 29 September 2026; Paper 6 Section B (Strategic Management) starts on 11 October 2026 and Paper 4 (Cost and Management Accounting) on 22 October 2026 (ICAI announcement, 10 June 2026, PDF (opens in a new tab)).
- CA Final, for May 2027 and November 2027: ICAI called these "Free Live Virtual Classes". They began from 20 July 2026; the announced schedule covers Papers 1 to 5. Read the announcement for your batch. They are not all the same.

Where an announcement mentions no fee, check on the BoS Knowledge Portal when you log in rather than assuming.
How to join ICAI LVC and LVRC classes
For the Zoom classes, the Foundation LVC and Intermediate LVRC announcements give the same steps: log in to the BoS Knowledge Portal, enter your course, registration number and date of birth, choose the class for your attempt, and join on Zoom. For the paid Intermediate LVC, the announcement's steps are: select your group, click Buy, log in with your registration number and date of birth, enter the OTP, and pay.
How to get the most from ICAI live classes
- Pick the batch for your attempt. The law and study material differ by attempt; see CA exam applicability and cut-off dates.
- Use the recorded lectures for chapters you missed rather than skipping them.
- Practise in writing alongside. Classes explain; marks come from writing answers. Pair them with ICAI's Mock Test Papers and past papers, as in our last 6 weeks study plan.

Frequently asked questions
Are ICAI LVC classes free?
It depends on the batch. ICAI calls the CA Final LVRC for November 2026 and the CA Final LVC for May and November 2027 "Free". The CA Intermediate LVC for May 2027 onwards has a "nominal fee" of ₹1,000 per group for live plus recorded classes, or ₹200 per group for recorded classes only (ICAI announcement, 10 June 2026, PDF (opens in a new tab)).
When do ICAI LVRC classes for CA Inter January 2027 start?
