The CA exam centre list for January 2027 has 304 cities in India and 3 abroad, and two of them are new: Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) and Khargone (Madhya Pradesh). Neither was on the list for September and November 2026. ICAI's City Master for January 2027 (PDF) (opens in a new tab) gives every city its code and, for big cities, the zones you choose from.
The January 2027 exams are CA Foundation (3, 5, 7 and 9 January) and CA Intermediate (2 to 12 January), so this list is the one you pick from when the exam form opens on 3 November 2026 (ICAI schedule, 23 September 2026, PDF (opens in a new tab)).

The 304 is the sum of ICAI's state-wise table for January 2027; ICAI doesn't print a total. Every other state's count is the same as in September 2026.

The City Master lists every exam city region by region, with a four-digit code. The first digit is the region.

That is 368 codes in India for 304 cities, because big cities are split into zones, each with its own code and a list of the localities it covers. Pick the zone nearest your home, not just the city:

ICAI exam city codes changed in the Central region
Adding Bhiwadi and Khargone moved the codes of the Central region. Bhiwadi took code 4014, so every code from Bhopal I to Khandwa moved up by one. Khargone took 4058, so Kishangarh and every code after it moved up by two.

Choosing your exam centre in the form
- Where: the exam form on ICAI's Self Service Portal, eservices.icai.org (opens in a new tab), from 3 November 2026. The last date is 16 November 2026 without a late fee and 19 November 2026 with it (ICAI Important Dates, January 2027, PDF (opens in a new tab)).
- City and exact centre: ICAI now lets you choose the exact centre within your chosen city when you apply. The final allotment is confirmed only on your admit card, and ICAI can change a centre for administrative reasons (ICAI, centre selection in the exam form (opens in a new tab)).
- Changing your city later: if you have already filled the form, ICAI opens a correction window for a new exam city or medium on 20 November 2026 (10 AM), closing on 22 November 2026 at 11:59 PM (ICAI Important Dates, PDF (opens in a new tab)).
- ICAI's caveat: it "reserves the right to withdraw any city / centre at any stage without assigning any reason" (same notice).

Writing the exam abroad
The January 2027 Foundation and Intermediate exams are also held in Bahrain, Dubai (UAE) and Kathmandu (Nepal). Papers start at the same moment as 2 PM in India: 11:30 AM in Bahrain, 12:30 PM in Dubai and 2:15 PM in Kathmandu (ICAI schedule, PDF (opens in a new tab)).

Which new CA exam centres are added for January 2027?
Two cities: Bhiwadi in Rajasthan (code 4014) and Khargone in Madhya Pradesh (code 4058). Both are listed in the January 2027 schedule and City Master and were not on the September and November 2026 lists.
Can I change my CA Foundation exam centre after submitting the form?
ICAI's notice gives one window for changing exam city or medium: 20 to 22 November 2026, for forms already filled. Your exact centre is confirmed on the admit card.
Does the new list apply to CA Final November 2026?
No. CA Final November 2026 uses the September & November 2026 City Master (PDF) (opens in a new tab), which you chose from when you filled that form. The January 2027 list is for Foundation and Intermediate.
