RTP Nov 2026 CA Final: direct ICAI PDFs with answers, all 6
The CA Final RTP Nov 2026 is out on ICAI's site with answers for all six papers: one PDF per paper plus a Group I and a Group II volume. Every link is in the table below and goes straight to ICAI's own PDF. ICAI's cut-off for your attempt is 30 April 2026: amendments, notifications and circulars up to that date are relevant, and the FR RTP opens with the Ind AS amendments applicable for November 2026.
With FR on Monday, 2 November 2026, you have about two weeks. Below: what each paper's RTP actually covers, how to fit it into the last weeks, and the mistakes that waste it. Every ICAI fact is linked to ICAI's own PDF.

Which file? The paper-wise PDF is lighter on a phone. The group volume (Edition: August, 2026) adds what the paper-wise files skip: subject-wise applicability and the study guidelines with topic-wise exclusions for November 2026. Read those pages once.

What each CA Final RTP Nov 2026 covers
Paper 1: FR RTP
Part I explains the amendments applicable from the November 2026 exam, notified by MCA in two rounds in 2025:
- G.S.R. 291(E), 7 May 2025: Ind AS 21, lack of exchangeability between currencies: when a currency is exchangeable, how to estimate the spot rate when it isn't, and the new disclosures.
- G.S.R. 549(E), 13 August 2025: Ind AS 1 (classifying liabilities as current or non-current, including liabilities with covenants), Ind AS 7 and Ind AS 107 (supplier finance arrangements) and Ind AS 12 (Pillar Two model rules).
Part II has twenty questions with answers. The applicable study material is the November 2024 edition (reprint August 2025 onwards); every paper's edition, and the May 2027 books to avoid, is in CA Final Nov 2026 study material. Where to spend FR time by marks is in CA Final FR chapter-wise weightage.
Paper 2: AFM RTP
Fourteen questions. ICAI lists the topics question by question: case scenarios on international financial management and on foreign exchange exposure, then advanced capital budgeting, security valuation, business valuation, derivatives, interest rate risk, portfolio management, mergers and acquisitions, mutual funds, security analysis, and three theory questions.
Read the corrigendum. On 15 September 2026, ICAI issued a correction for a typographical error in the answer to Question 11 (the RSI calculation) (PDF (opens in a new tab)). If you downloaded the AFM RTP before that date, mark the change in your copy. How marks split across AFM chapters is in CA Final AFM chapter-wise weightage.
Paper 3: Audit RTP
Part I is an Academic Update with page-wise changes to the study material:
- Chapter 14 (NBFCs): the 2026 amendment on registration exemption for certain NBFCs, and revised text on capital requirements.
- Chapter 19 (Professional Ethics): an amended Clause (9) of Part I of the First Schedule, a new Clause (5) of Part II of the Second Schedule, and the Council's decision on the limit of 60 tax audit assignments.
Part II has twenty questions (case-scenario MCQs, independent MCQs and descriptive questions) across all nineteen chapters. ICAI states that amendments up to 30 April 2026 are relevant. Ethics carries the most marks in recent papers; see CA Final Audit chapter wise weightage.
Paper 4: DT RTP
ICAI's applicability note: direct tax laws as amended by the Finance Act, 2025, with significant notifications and circulars up to 30 April 2026; the assessment year is AY 2026-27. The September 2025 study material applies, read with the Judicial Update for November 2026 (PDF) (opens in a new tab). ICAI has not issued a Statutory Update for Paper 4 this time, because no significant notification or circular came between 1 August 2025 and 30 April 2026, except Notification No. 54/2026, which is covered in the Judicial Update. The RTP opens with two case scenarios. Marks by chapter: CA Final DT chapter-wise weightage.
Paper 5: IDT RTP
GST and customs law as amended by the Finance Act, 2025, with amendments effective up to 30 April 2026. The September 2025 study material applies, read with the Statutory Update for November 2026. ICAI also names what is not applicable because it hadn't taken effect by 30 April 2026: the Finance Act, 2023 changes to section 65 and new section 65A of the Customs Act, and the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2019 changes to sections 2(4), 95 and 102 to 106 of the CGST Act, including new sections 101A to 101C (Group II volume, PDF (opens in a new tab)). Marks by chapter: CA Final IDT chapter-wise weightage.
Paper 6: IBS RTP
Two case studies. ICAI's table in the Group II volume:
| Case study | Industry | What it tests |
|---|---|---|
| Carry On Airline Limited | Aviation | McKinsey 7S, Ind AS 116 sale-and-leaseback of aircraft, GST input tax credit on aircraft and lease rentals, SEBI disclosure, audit risk |
| Synovia & Synovia Life Sciences | Pharmaceuticals | Pull-based inventory, a strategic acquisition and its financing, FEMA limits on remittances, referring to component auditors in a consolidated audit report |
ICAI reminds you that IBS is open book, assessed 40% by MCQs and 60% by descriptive questions in each 25-mark case study. More on the paper in how to prepare for CA Final Paper 6 IBS.
How to use the RTP in the last three weeks
ICAI's own advice in the RTP: finish the study material (and the Statutory and Judicial Updates) first, then "solve the questions given therein on your own and thereafter compare your answers". With the exam close, that becomes a tight routine.
| When | Group I (FR, AFM, Audit) | Group II (DT, IDT, IBS) |
|---|---|---|
| 10–18 Oct | Read Part I of FR and Audit; update your notes; mark the AFM corrigendum | Read the DT and IDT applicability notes; check your notes against the 30 April 2026 cut-off |
| 19–25 Oct | Solve the FR, AFM and Audit RTP questions in timed blocks, by hand | Solve the DT and IDT case scenarios and descriptive questions |
| 26 Oct–1 Nov | Only the questions you got wrong, plus one full mock per paper | Solve the two IBS case studies open book, about an hour each, as in the exam |
| Exam gaps | 3 and 5 Nov: your wrong-answer list for the next paper, plus FR/Audit Part I or the AFM corrigendum | 7–8, 10 and 12 Nov: your wrong-answer list, plus the DT or IDT applicability note |
Three rules make this work:
- Write, don't read. Reading an RTP answer next to its question feels like revision but trains recognition. Cover the answer, write yours, then compare line by line.
- Time every block. 100 marks in 3 hours means about 25 minutes for a 14-mark question. A question you can't finish in that time marks the chapter to revise.
- Keep a wrong-answer list. One line per mistake: the provision, the step you missed, the correct line. This list is your revision in the exam gaps.

Mistakes that waste the RTP
- Skipping Part I. In FR and Audit, Part I is where ICAI lists what changed for this attempt. Read it before you solve anything.
- Using an old RTP for tax. Each RTP is written for its own attempt's cut-off. For DT and IDT, amounts and rates come from this RTP's law, not an older one.
- Checking yourself generously. ICAI provides answers "to enable the students to do a self-assessment"; it doesn't check your copy. Give a mark only for a step you actually wrote (how step marking works).
Frequently asked questions
Is the CA Final RTP Nov 2026 released?
Yes. ICAI's CA Final RTP page (opens in a new tab) lists November 2026 with paper-wise PDFs for all six papers, both group volumes and the AFM corrigendum. The group volumes say "Edition: August, 2026".
Does the CA Final RTP Nov 2026 have answers?
Yes. Every paper's PDF prints ICAI's detailed answers after the questions, with full workings for numerical questions. ICAI says the answers are given so that you can self-assess.
What is the cut-off date for CA Final Nov 2026?
30 April 2026. ICAI's Group I and Group II RTP volumes say amendments, notifications and circulars up to that date are relevant. For DT that means the Finance Act, 2025 and AY 2026-27; for FR, Part I of the RTP lists the Ind AS amendments. More on cut-offs in what's applicable for your CA attempt.
Is the Finance Act, 2026 applicable for CA Final Nov 2026?
No. ICAI's RTP states that DT is as amended by the Finance Act, 2025 (AY 2026-27), and IDT is as amended by the Finance Act, 2025, with amendments effective up to 30 April 2026.
Are RTP questions repeated in the CA Final exam?
ICAI doesn't say so, and you shouldn't count on it. The RTP's value is the applicability note, the amendments in Part I and practice on the topics ICAI chose. Pair it with ICAI's Nov 2026 MTPs and past papers with ICAI's suggested answers. How many free full papers that gives you per subject is in free CA Final mock test papers.
