CA Inter result Sep 2026: date, time and website

ICAI's words: "The results of the Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination held in September 2026 is likely to be declared by the evening of 22nd October 2026 and the same can be accessed by candidates on the website caresults.icai.org." How to check your CA Inter result on caresults.icai.org

Open caresults.icai.org, pick Intermediate, and enter your registration number and roll number.

1. Open the site ICAI named: caresults.icai.org (opens in a new tab). Use only this address; ICAI's notice names no other site for this result.
2. Pick your exam: CA Intermediate, September 2026.
3. Enter your roll number (on your admit card), your registration number and the code shown on the screen.
4. Save the marks page as a PDF or screenshot. You need the paper-wise marks to decide on verification and to plan your next attempt.
5. Read your marks against the passing rule: at least 40 in each paper and 150 out of 300 in the group's total (or 300 out of 600 across both groups, if you wrote both). Our guide to CA Inter passing marks and exemption rules works through it with tables.

If the site is slow when the result goes up, try again a little later; the result stays up. Keep your admit card handy for the roll number.

Toppers and pass percentage: on result day ICAI also posts a press release. For May 2026 it gave the pass percentage for each group and the top three all-India rank holders (May 2026 Inter press release (opens in a new tab)).

CA Foundation result Sep 2026: date not announced yet

ICAI hasn't announced the CA Foundation September 2026 result date yet. Its 14 October notice is for Intermediate only. When ICAI posts a Foundation notice on its Examination – Students page (opens in a new tab), the date goes in the status box above.

What past cycles show (history, not a forecast):

• Last cycle, May 2026: ICAI declared the results separately. Inter came on 24 June 2026 and Foundation on 3 July 2026, nine days later.
• The five attempts before that (September 2024 to January 2026): Foundation and Inter came on the same day.

Latest CA Inter result (Sep 2026, declared 22 October 2026): Group I 23.14%, Group II 18.92%, both groups 13.21%.

CA Final result date: May 2026 and Nov 2026

The CA Final May 2026 result was declared on 18 June 2026, 37 days after the last paper on 12 May (ICAI press release (opens in a new tab); May 2026 schedule, PDF (opens in a new tab)). The CA Final Nov 2026 result date is not announced; the exams end on 13 November 2026.

After the result: verification and certified copies

ICAI lets you apply on the Self Service Portal (opens in a new tab) for verification of marks and certified copies of your answer books. Each attempt has its own window, announced after the result. For May 2026, the windows opened the day after each result:

Fees: since December 2025, ₹50 per paper for verification and ₹100 per paper for certified copies (ICAI announcement, 18 December 2025, PDF (opens in a new tab)).

What to do after the CA Inter result
